This event was presented by the Center for Labor and Employment Law and U.S.-Asia Law Institute. The discussion posed the question: “What is the current state in China of criminal justice, the right to freely associate with others, the right to worship in one’s own way, the right to speak one’s mind, and the right to explore the internet?

How are U.S. asylum applications from China faring? What can be done to promote awareness of human rights issues in U.S. policy circles?
