On November 18, 2014, former U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman addressed attendees of the NARUC 126th Annual Meeting. He discusses The State Clean Energy Cookbook: A Dozen Recipes for State Action on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. Bingaman and former Secretary of State and Treasury George Shultz co-led the report, which was written with members of Stanford’s Steyer-Taylor Center for Energy Policy and Finance and the Hoover Institution’s Shultz-Stephenson Task Force on Energy Policy.
A panel discussion on the Cookbook’s recommendations followed Bingaman’s address. Panelists included Dan Reicher, executive director of the Steyer-Taylor Center for Energy Policy and Finance.
