Norm Champ’s “Mastering Money: How to Beat Debt, Build Wealth, and Be Prepared for any Financial Crisis,” was written for Americans who are living in fear of financial problems and want to recapture their piece of the American dream. In simple language, the book guides readers to learn the fundamentals of getting their finances in order and learning how to invest in the future.

Norm Champ is a lecturer on law at Harvard Law School and a partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Previously, Champ was the director of the Division of Investment Management at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). At the SEC, he played a key role in the SEC’s completion of landmark reforms in 2014 to strengthen the $3 trillion money market fund industry, and led important structural and policy changes.
