On October 10-12, 2013, Stanford Law School and the Institute on the Politics of Inequality, Race and Ethnicity at Stanford (INSPIRES) hosted the Stanford Symposium on Marriage Equality. The conference featured reflections by activists on recent events in the same-sex marriage debate.
In this video SLS Professor Nate Persily moderates the panel “The Old-Fashioned Politics of the Marriage Movement: Policy and Opinion in the Wake of Perry and Windsor.”
The panel includes University of California Irvine’s Charles Anthony Smith, University of Michigan’s Logan S. Casey and Columbia University’s Jeffrey Lax.
