One of the best experiences students can have while here is to write a strong student paper, which can serve as a writing sample for clerkships, fulfill the degree writing requirements, and even be published somewhere. But one of the most difficult parts of these writing exercises is choosing a topic. How do you choose a substantial writing topic? What sort of topic is a good one? Where can one find help? And once one has a topic, how to go about writing the paper?
